AGI is happy to announce we are now equipped with Revio – the latest PacBio sequencer.  Maintaining the same high accuracy of HiFi reads, the new instrument achieves a 15-fold increase in productivity, shortening turnaround time and reducing sequencing cost by almost three-fold.  The instrument will be used both for AGI’s internal research projects and for the Service Center.  AGI would like to thank UA’s BIO5 Institute and the School of Plant Sciences for their support in ensuring that the state’s universities have access to competitive and modern genomics datasets.
